  • MISSION STATEMENT

    Our mission at Standard Defense LLC is to give individuals the skills and abilities to defend themselves, as well as their families.  We at Standard Defense LLC are committed to educating you and your family on preparedness, firearms training with hands on learning, combat mindset and security so you may adventure with peace of mind. With a better educated and armed society, we have a safer and more peaceful community.

    Having eleven years of training and experience, we are able to provide our clients with professional knowledge that will secure the foundation of their understanding, maneuverability and ultimately, their shooting. We offer basic, and advanced weapons safety courses as well as One to One sessions. 

  • WHO WE ARE

    My name is Brian Early. I am the CEO & Lead Instructor of Standard Defense LLC. I was born in Oregon, and raised in Montana. My family and I have been blessed and grateful to call this area our home since 2018. Not moving based off of military orders sure has been nice!


    I joined the United States Marine Corps in 2007 and served 8 years in the Infantry. My time in the infantry allowed me to hold many billets ranging from Scout Team Leader, Designated Marksman, Squad Leader, and eventually to Platoon Sergeant. During my time in the USMC, I did three combat deployments (first to Iraq, two in Afghanistan) and two training deployments (Japan, and the Philippines). 


    After getting married in 2010, I got orders to report to Parris Island, South Carolina in early 2011. There I served as a Marksmanship Instructor and worked my way up to Primary Marksmanship Instructor. Here I was working directly, day-in and day-out with recruits as well as fellow Marines, with the sole focus of making every shot count. I then went back to the fleet Marine force and deployed back to Afghanistan for my last time,  and stepped aboard ship to Japan and the Philippines. The Marine Corps granted me with opportunities I cherish, and meet people I will never forget. 


    I was honorably discharged from the US Marines in 2015 and have been teaching firearms training, security contracting, and working within the firearms industry since. I’ve been an instructor for 11 years and take great pride in giving high quality training for a reasonable price. It's an honor to share my knowledge, based from experience with you.

    KNOWLEDGE: There is an age old saying that still rings true, "It is better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it." We personally believe that this goes hand in hand with firearms, and firearm safety. 


    UNDERSTANDING: By better understanding, we are able to solidify the foundation for each shooter, for each situation.  Knowing your firearm, and knowing yourself, you will become more proficient with every shot. With deeper insight, you will become better prepared no matter the situation.


    CONSISTENCY: It would be foolish to claim that a professional athlete does not train or practice their skill-set... are you consistently training, with the results you aim for? Allow us to deliver our professional knowledge to you, enabling you to become not only more consistent, but more self reliant too.

  • BASIC PISTOL

    THE BASIC PISTOL COURSE IS PERFECT FOR ANYONE NEW TO FIREARMS. IT IS ESTABLISHED TO ENSURE A SOLID FOUNDATION IN WEAPONS SAFETY, WEAPON MANIPULATION, PISTOL MARKSMENSHIP AND THE ABILITY TO DIAGNOSE SHOT PLACEMENT TO IMPROVE OVERALL SHOOTING AND CONSISTENCY.

  • ADVANCED PISTOL

    ADVANCED PISTOL WILL EXPAND UPON BASIC PISTOL AND GIVE YOU THE CONFIDENCE TO SHOOT FAST, CONSISTENTLY, AND ON THE MOVE. WE NAVIGATE YOU THROUGH THE KNOWLEDGE WE HAVE, FROM EXPERIENCE WE'VE GAINED TO MOVE THROUGH HIGH STRESS ENVIRONMENTS SIMULATED AROUND REAL WORLD SITUATIONS. FOCUSING ON ACCURACY, CONSISTENCY AND SPEED WHILE USING UNCONVENTIONAL SHOOTING POSITIONS AROUND OBSTACLES WITHIN A DEFENSIVE SHOOTING SETTING. ADVANCED PISTOL WILL LEAVE YOU WITH CONFIDENCE TO CARRY YOUR FIREARM IN ANY SITUATION.

  • GROUP/FAMILY

    STANDARD DEFENSE LLC BELIEVES THAT A FAMILY THAT SHOOTS TOGETHER, STAYS TOGETHER. COME AND LEARN TOGETHER. ANY LEVEL, MOST AGES; SAFETY AND GENERAL BASICS ARE KEY TO SETTING EVERY SHOOTER'S FOUNDATION. ESTABLISH YOUR GROUP/FAMILY COURSE HERE. Bring: Personal water and food. Wear weather appropriate clothing, EAR and EYE protection.

  • ONE TO ONE HALF DAY

    One to One sessions must be booked via Customer Relations or Brian Early directly - THREE HOUR DAY - Bring: ability to hold 2 magazines on your person, magazine pouch or chest rig. Personal water and food. Wear weather appropriate clothing, 250 rounds of ammunition and minimum of three magazines. EAR AND EYE SAFETY

  • ONE TO ONE FULL DAY

    One to One sessions must be booked via Customer Relations or Brian Early directly - SIX HOUR DAY - Bring: ability to hold 2 magazines on your person, magazine pouch or chest rig. Personal water and food. Wear weather appropriate clothing, 400 rounds of ammunition and minimum of three magazines. EAR AND EYE SAFETY

  • BASIC RIFLE

Wear weather appropriate clothing, 250 rounds of ammunition and minimum of three magazines.  EAR AND EYE PROTECTION!

  • ADVANCED CONCEALED CARRY

    SECURE YOURSELF AND/OR YOUR LOVED ONES NO MATTER WHERE YOU GO WITH THE ADVANCED CONCEALED CARRY COURSE- Bring: ability to hold 1 magazine on your person, magazine pouch. Personal water, food. Wear weather appropriate clothing, 400 rounds of ammunition and minimum of three magazines.  EAR AND EYE PROTECTION!

  • PRESCISION CARBINE

    OUR PRECISION CARBINE COURSE IS UNIQUE AND PLACES SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON OUR FUNDAMENTALS OF MARKSMENSHIP, SHOOTING POSITIONS, WIND OBSERVATION AND WIND CALLS, BALLISTICS, SHOT GROUP ANALYSIS, AND DIALING DOPE USING A VARIETY OF RETICLE, MOA, MIL, AND BDC - AS WELL AS BUILDING A DATA BOOK. Bring: ability to hold 3 magazines on your person, magazine pouch or chest rig. Personal water, and food. Pen and paper! Wear weather appropriate clothing. 250 rounds of Match-Grade ammunition and minimum of three magazines. Bi-pod REQUIRED. EAR AND EYE PROTECTION!

  • REQUIRED WAIVER

    Attached to each client, for each course, 

    this waiver and release of reliability MUST BE SIGNED AND DATED a minimum of 24 hours in ADVANCE to SECURE placement within course. PLEASE  - BRING FORM OF ID TO EVERY COURSE
